Mentoring
Mentoring focuses on the personality development of a mentee. The mentor takes on varied tasks and roles, thus becoming a role model and counselor by accompanying and supporting his mentee, providing concrete assistance in problem solving and providing constructive criticism and feedback. The mentor, reminding the mentee of being “grounded,” also acts as a coach or critic. In the role of promoter, he allows his mentee access to useful networks and serves as a reference.
